The Committee normally meets every month on the Wednesday and Thursday following the first Monday of each month. The decisions on interest rates are announced at 12 noon immediately following the Thursday meeting.

The dates of the interest rate decisions, minutes of the MPC meetings and the quarterly Inflation Reports for 2005 are listed below and include links where information has been published.

As announced on the 22 September 2004, in the event that a general election takes place on any of the below scheduled MPC meeting days, the start of the MPC meeting would be deferred by 48 hours to Friday afternoon, and the meeting would continue on Monday morning. This means that the decision would be announced at 12 noon on the Monday after the election, and may mean a short delay in publication of the Inflation Report.
